本作為以銀河外太空為舞台的人氣即時戰略 RTS 遊戲「銀河文明 II」最新獨立資 
料片，但本作不但支援可以獨立遊戲而不需要原本的主程式光碟片之外，還把前兩 
款資料片「黑暗化身」(Dark Avatar)跟「阿諾的黃昏」(Twilight of the Arnor) 
的內容也一併收錄在其中，讓玩家可以輕鬆進行遊玩。 
 
「銀河文明 II」為一套描述跟外星人結成「The Terran Alliance」同盟的人類如 
何對抗敵對外星人勢力「Drengin Empire」的即時戰略遊戲。而在這款最新資料片 
中將會有著怎樣的內容更新，則還有待官方之後公佈才能明瞭。
